Tengen Toppa all the way. It simply can't be beat.
I've stopped watching animes though in favor of the mangas. Everything in them is much sharper and more emotive. I only really read bleach cause I've seen so much so far and it only takes 10 mins max on a new chapter it's hardly worth giving up now. Naruto manga's the worst for beating around the bush, and One Piece is my fav right now. Either all action or massive emotion. Or both.

If I had to choose one on the list I'd pick Deathnote, although it got stupid at some point so I stopped watching it and I didn't like the emo motif of it. My all time favorite anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's so dark and different from most other anime.
