Poll: Anyone else psyched for Front Mission: Evolved?

So, basically, I'm just posting this because I can't wait until this new mech game comes out. It seems pretty cool, even if it was made by Square Enix. I guess I'll just wait and see. I'm out of my mind waiting until it gets unlocked for steam (I pre-ordered it). So yeah.

Edit: By the way, it comes out on the 28th.

On a similar topic, I'm getting kinda pissed about how few mech games are being made in recent years. And even more pissed that most of them (if not ALL of them) are made by foreign contries which portray mechs similar to the Armored Core and Gundam mechs. I mean, what the hell happened to mechwarrior? What happened to mechs that felt like you were playing in a 500 ton steel death machine? Bah, now I'm ranting. Anyway, comment if you feel like it. In fact, I'm going to add a post just because. What's your favorite type of mech? Sorry if I missed a few, I really don't know many mech series.

I'm disappointed, last I heard they removed the Turn-based that made the series unique.

I'm adopting a 'wait and see' approach to this too. I don't think I've ever really played a mech game (never really been into mechs in the first place), but this looks kind of intriguing. I'll hold till I find some reviews and opinions though. I never played the original FM games either, so I don't really feel the backlash that the fans do over taking out the turn-based stuff.

When does this come out, anyway? It's coming out on PC, right (at least, that's what I heard)?

I'm always excited for anything Front Mission coming out here. Compared to something like Gundam or Evangelion FM's mech designs are normally far more down-to-earth and realistic with the exception of the final boss, which I think works well for it.

I can't wait, been a long time since I've had fun with mechs in chrome hounds or armoured core. However, i'm really not sure how the game is going to turn out or how much customisation you will get so i'm going to hold off on the pre-ordering, really hoping they do something special with it though.
