Is anyone still going to watch Game Dogs esp. after the last unnecessary gory and unfunny episode? I've been a watcher for this series to see if it can really bring in some good humor, but so far it didn't make me laugh or even make smile at all. Though after the failure that is the 1st season, the announcement of the 2nd season came shortly afterward. I thought of why bother with a 2nd if the 1st season failed miserably? Though I gave them a bit benefit of the doubt and see any improvements.

After watching the episodes, I saw some improvement, but my reaction still remained the same. It went from bad to near meh. IMO, the series still suffers from poor writing and unfunny humor, flat and uninteresting chars esp. the 3 'mains', and bad animation. Upon hearing about the The Hand of Fate, it seemed that they're desperate to grab the attention of new viewers, showing that they're running out of ideas, and mostly given up on their series. Even the game itself was unsatisfactory and I just did it so Bethany would die (though I was hoping to at least kill all of them including Gary).

Well, after watching the last episode, with its bad humor and how it tries to win over the audience with distasteful gore and suicide, I thought to myself if only they kill the rest of the chars and the series, I would have become a happy camper. I really hope that this means the series is nearing the end, but seeing how the next ep would probably pull a cop out move and say "Everything was a dream." or something like that and that it is probably going for Halloween motif. So at this point, I'm not bothering with the series anymore since they've so far jumped too many sharks or gone too far with this bullsh!t. Anyone here feel the same?

Also, if you were to replace Game Dogs with something better, what would it be?

Something else from Jon Etheridge and co. Apparently, they had an idea for a show set in space, but it was rejected in favour of Apocalypse Lane. Maybe they could resurrect it?

You really ought to see how much hate is thrown at this show in the TF2 chat. I was generally surprised to read the comments and see how many people actually enjoy this show. Hopefully this will be the end of that abomination as we know it.

I think that "Hell No!" option is a little harsh...

The only episodes I watched were the first one and the Hand Of Fate one. I haven't liked it since it started, but watched the last one simply because everyone said it was over-the-top. I struggled to find even a bit that was funny, so I'll just continue not watching.

Yes, that would be a great replacement. However I think they're too busy. As it is they are going bi-weekly with D&A and I don't want the quality of that show to suffer because of the stress of writing and animating two series simultaneously. Maybe if we had like a guy who reviewed books or something, idk.

Anything is better than Game Dogs at this point and I was one of those who thought the show was just okay. Season 2 has been nothing but the slow dying whistle of a clearly hated series. I was still going to watch the series until the last episode. That was tasteless and I refuse to watch the next one.

Holy shit, there's no fanboys here?

I thought I was one of the only ones who hated this series, but it seems it's near universal.

I didn't mind Game Dogs before, but that episode kinda screws the pooch doesn't it? No wait, maybe he should put the car in bark. No wait wait, if a dog is driving, it can't be a feliny, amirite?

Yeah... Swing and a miss.

That is a very bad sign indeed. No people coming instantly coming to the series defense? That means the show lacks a core, dedicated audience. So basically all their views have been based off of people wanting to watch the decline of the show or just the uninformed.

Those aren't the symptoms of a healthy, popular show.

I watched the first season and found it a bore, haven't seen any since. How gory did it get?

Also, I'd say add an option between maybe and kill it with fire. Something that's just a "meh" or similar, because that's where I'd fall.

I watched the first ep, didn't like it.

Saw the 'Hand of Fate' one and I was offended. And I like to think the internet has desensitized me to that crap as well.

It was unfunny, tasteless, and just downright horrible. I like to think the best of things but I'm honestly shocked that someone would do something like this, let alone a site I respect allowing it through - even turning it into a selling point.

I really have nothing else to say.

I think the show is alright-ish. It get's a small chuckle or grin from me now and then, but I've never actually laughed. I haven't seen the latest episode, but I did see the avatar someone here created out of it. This doesn't really seem like a series that needs that kind of gore, and I can only think that this whole 'Hand of Fate' thing is just a way to draw attention.

And I hate the puns. Some episodes feel like they rely on them, and it's never a good thing when a series relies on puns.

I watched a few episodes, didn't like it.

If I could replace it with anything it would probably be a panel-type show, each week would just be a debate on some issue (possibly to do with gaming) between four completely different and colourful people.

Edit: just watched that "Hands of fate" episode to see what all the hubbub was about...OH COME ON THAT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! There' jumping the shark, but killing off two of the main characters, one in what I suppose is unexpected suicide, that's jumping the entire ocean.

I may watch it if they do something really, really good with the two deaths in the last episode. But considering how badly handled and in bad taste the episode itself was, I highly doubt they can do anything to make up for it (not to mention with the high possibility that it was just a publicity stunt, I highly doubt they would take the series where it needs to go in order to make that work). They were getting a lot better in season 2, and I was enjoying the show a lot more than season 1, but that was just terrible.

Never really liked the show but found Hand of Fate to be surprisingly entertaining. Had an "American Psycho" reference and I Never liked any of the characters besides Bob anyway.

Bethany's mutilated body in the back of Bob's car.

It cannot be unseen.
Okay, out of curiosity, I went and watched the episode. That was...uh...yeah, I'm not going to go back to Game Dogs. I'll stick with Doraleous, thanks.
