Poll: Apocalypse Lane Advertising

I know escapist is trying to get as many people aware of it as possible but having it as a background, a pop up and an intro to any video you watch is making me hate it more and more. It wasn't all that bad as a show but these adverts have really put me off. Do you agree?

*shrug* Escapist has the right to take money in exchange for running an ad. I have the right to, upon observing the ad, note that it looks terrible and then complain about its presence on a forum. There is no condition which says we can't each do our bits.

The advertising is annoyingly overpresent, the show is stunningly pointless, and the song is beyond catchy. I have nought but contempt for Apocalypse Lane.

I agree with the majority of people here. It was worthy of being a 5-10 minute clip on Adult Swim or something, but it was too afraid to be edgy or break formula to enjoy throughout.

I will say, though, that the priest's sock puppet was pulled off pretty well!

Axe the rest of the crew, and give that sock a role on a Sifl and Ollie revival.

I'm not a big fan of the show but the thing about the ads is the escapist pays alot of money for their domain and their servers so they're free to do whatever they want with the site, we should be gratefull for all the good shows that you can watch for free.

They'll be taken down soon, when the publicity for it has died away. Just ignore them.
