Poll: Are accents different than your own sexy?

So, what do you think of accents (different than your own). Are they sexy/not sexy/anti sexy?

Personally I love accents and I think they make women more attractive and give them a special unique quality. Having something different in a woman that you can't find at home is somehow especially appealing to me.

Also, which accents do you like? I like Eastern European the most.

Im sorta indifferent... I have a thick western Scot accent, but living in the NW U.S now that's considered pretty exotic I noticed a lass with a Aussie or Scot accent seem to get alot of attentions, and Lads who are Scot, Brit, or french get alot of attention in the states...though what fares better varies by region.

I personally can't think of any one accent that effects me, could be because adopting as many languages as I can until the day I die is a core hobby of mine, though I admit there are a few I can't stand hearing for long before it tugs on my last nerve.


though anyone flat out speaking Gàidhlig outside of Scotland will win major points in my book.

Well, I'm from deep East Texas, and a woman having the same accent as me tends to be an absolute turn-off.

I prefer just about anything else.

I'm definately a sucker for accents of all types. Being originally from Chicago I have a pretty distinctive northern accent, so any others sound good to my ears!

It obviously depends on the accent. I'll say right now that there's a few American accents I find incredibly jarring. Even worse are the incomprehensible Asian accents I hear fairly often.

On the other hand, there's some British accents that I can just listen to all day long.

I love a good couple of accents. Japanese, Vietnamese, Austrailian, British, Russian, and Latin accents all nice to hear out of a girl.

The only accent I can't stand is a Southern USA trailer park accent. Maybe it has something to do with my bigot step dad...

Being from Las Vegas it seems like my accent is a lack of one (kind of monotone naturally)
I rarely leave the state though and when I do its usually to California so maybe its just me being stuck in one place that makes it seem that way.

Yeah, heres a weird one, Northern Irish. Hard to find but if a girl has that accent I just melt quite frankly. Also hoping the American girls loving British accents is true as Im heading to the states in the summer

NO, stop the men at work thing, Land down under was burned into my head all through the 80's, and when saints row 2 came out, it re-opened that scar tissue and has not healed yet.


Lol, Actually I'm quite enjoying Eastern Washington, I've lived in many larger cities around the world, and next to Portree itself, find my current city to be quite relaxing and enjoyable... though there are some things more or less on the local governing level I wanna slap people around for, for being idiots and totally not understanding what they are doing. Some accents are sexy, as long as they aren't very prominent. If its subtle, then yes, sexy. but if it is so strong that you could see them being a stereotypical racial character on Family Guy, there be no sexy yonder.
