Poll: Are LOLcats funny? I don't think so.

On the internet I thought there would be a fair number of people who hate these things but it seems I am the only one! I don't get the appeal. A cat doing something a cat normally does, with bad grammar written. The only real humor I can take from it is when the cat is in the air and the picture was a one-in-a-million shot. But other than that its supposed to be 'cute'? I imagine people call in sick for work just to sit with their cat take a picture and stare at it trying to think of what to write.They upload it to a site where they will get critiqued with scathing review of 'lol' and 'cute :3'. And they feel that they actually accomplished something. Well next time I take a shit I'll be sure to post it on the internet and act like I jumped over Mount Everest.

I just want to know since this IS the escapist after all I'd assume not many people would like LOLcats. Disclaimer: Its not like I can just let people like them and leave them alone, I see these every day and they won't go away. In computer class someone sends around a picture of a cat in a bathtub with the caption 'i is in a bathtub' and everyone goes "OMG LOLLLLLL COMEDY GENIUS HAHAHA" while I'm stuck out of the loop. i is so so saaaad.

Err, I mean it sucks how so many people can thing this is funny, and of course I'm right because I'm a cynic teenager and my logic is flawless. But seriously what do you tihnk of LOLcats?

The one thing I probably hate more than LOLcats is the person who creates them thinking they're a 'comedian'. I know whats funny, funny was at my house the other day and I checked his cellphone contact list and it didn't say LOLcats on it but it did say Rosie o' Donnell so I started to wonder if it wasn't funny but some guy who just knows Rosie o' Donnell.

I kicked him out, fucker.

There are a lot of rubbish ones, but there are also some pretty funny ones.

And its not just that its things that a cat does, but the manner cats have of emulating humans - or at least, of having human characteristics, something that you rarely see in other animals..

I love them. Most of them I find pretty funny, at least make me snicker a bit, only a few are hilarious (mostly the one's without the actual LOLcat language) but all of them are at least cute.

It's just opinion. Some people find it funny, you don't. It's that simple.

I like some and I hate some. When people are trying to damn hard like "iz in ur cmpter stealin ur bndwith", I just close it. When the caption fits the picture perfectly, however, I find it funny as hell.

I like them and enjoy the fact that you don't.

It reminds me of just how hard it is for people to accept that other people are different.

But I give you credit, at least you aren't murdering people who disagree with you. That puts you a notch above a ton of people before you .
