Simple question, really. Are you happy with the current condition and situation of your life? If you aren't, why not?

I'm pretty happy with my life, it's been going better than it was. Things have improved with my girlfriend, I'm glad we were able to fix things instead of just breaking up.

Of course! I'm in college, am living comfortable, have great friends, and play great games. What's not to like? :D

Currently, I am not happy.

BUT! I'm taking the first steps in becoming happy! I just got a job, I'm starting counseling soon, and I've realized that my endless pursuit of the perfect woman needs to be put on hold until I become happy with who I am as a person.

Things are looking up after a good few weeks of hitting absolute rock-bottom.

I'd say that things are pretty good, all things considering. Even though my mom passed away on the 19th, I'm in college, don't have to worry about where my next meal is coming from, have an amazing gf and really supportive friends and all, not to mention that I have plans of maybe moving in with my gf sometime in the not to distant future. I'm sad that my mom passed, but life will return to normal soon enough, and life isn't too bad for me. I wish I could have a Ridgeline instead of the Civic I drive, but who doesn't drive a clunker and dream of better vehicles? XD

Yeah, mine is pretty good, I'm coming to the end of my life in Education, and have to enter the real world soon (scary biscuits!) I'll just have to see what happens job wise, also I don't have a girlfriend, and will likely be meeting less girls now that I'm finishing uni, but I like to think that as I get older they get more desperate, so in a few years time I'll be able to get a girl to settle for me. (As you can tell my life at the momentisn't that serious, sure I've problems, but they're minor, I'm a white, middle class, male, university graduate, living in a first world country. Get a perspective and chill out.)

I have no real life of my own and there's the constant threat of my home life collapsing, but as it stands it's relatively peaceful right now.

My life is pretty good.

But this current school semester sucks. 2 hellish courses, three awful teachers.... >_< The only thing keeping me sane and happy is my girlfriend (part of the reason my life is doing pretty good at the moment)

Things are okay here I guess. Life has it's ups and downs and will go on regardless of my being. There is always some type of obstacle but there is also always some type of hope or reason to go on.

great to hear it! i can vouch from experience that sometimes hitting rock bottom can be the best thing to happen to a person. it can catalyze a whole ton of needed changes. also, i applaud you for realizing you can't seek a life partner until you can live with yourself; too many people never learn that.

OT: i'm generally pretty happy with my life. pretty stressed out from work right now, and feeling a little butthurt due to some probably self-inflicted misunderstandings with friends, but all in all, as Joe Walsh so aptly stated, "I can't complain, but sometimes i still do. Life's been good to me so far."

For the most part. I get great grades at school but my social-life is in the pits. All my friends live a while away but I still get to see them on weekends. I still play awesome games every day so that makes everything better. I'm kind of just waiting to get to University, because High-school is a hellhole (At least for a nerd with no social skills :p)

Edit: Life has returned to awesomeness. I just watched Spirited away which always makes me feel high on life.

I've finished the hardest part of the final school year and have the time to spend with my friends. My life's great at the moment. :)

It took me nearly ruining my relationship with the girl I'm in love with, who is also one of my closest friends, to make me realize that I needed help. We're still good and she's so proud of me (and subsequently a bit more attracted) because of the steps I'm taking.

It is seriously the best thing to ever happen to me.

Oh yes. Ecstatic.
Things are fucking copacetic. Sometimes I weep from my every orifice out of pure joy.

Yes. I'm about to graduate college, and I already have a job with a big name company, in which I will be programming from the start.
I also have a steady girlfriend, and an active social life, so I'm very happy where I'm at.

Things could be better. I can't be bothered to do anything anymore aside from play games and talk to a few select people, I seem to be losing a lot of friends as a result, and my sleep patterns have turned to shit.

On the plus side though, sushi tonight.

Things could certainly be worse but that's not to say I'm happy with my life. I'm not where I want to be lifewise so to speak.

On the other hand, I have a roof over my head, I have a car, I have food everyday, I have a degree of disposable income so that gaming is a hobby of mine. Compared to many on the planet I'm living the life of a king. I mean, unless you're homeless or starving or you're getting beaten or abused on a daily basis saying "life sucks" is a bit of an exageration.
