As the title suggests, Im wondering if the people at the escapist are introverted, Or not accepted and if so, Why?

So Vote, Post why and try to be civil... I dont wanna cause a flame war

Personally, I wasn't. Mainly due to the fact i have exema on about 60% of my skin, It was horrible enough without people calling attention to it. On the up side i never Age Gain weight

So yeah, Tell me what ya think

I have no idea if I'm accepted.
Mainly because I don't care.
But I have to admit, Aspergers would make it hard to tell even if I did care.
So...meh.

Yes, I have lots of friends that I talk to regularly, though I don't fit into a particular group if that's what you mean.

I am, but in primary school there were times when they'd play the invisible game. Whereby, the second we were out of class I was invisible and they couldn't hear me. They would ignore me for the whole day, bump into me and generally try and walk through me.

I'm never really sure, because people will still call round for me or tell me when something's going on, but then when I do go out I can't tell if they actually enjoy my company that much.

I'm pretty much on the same boat with Xmetatr0nx. Though, frankly don't care if I am or not, so I don't know; I don't pay attention to these kind of things.

Uhhh...I think so. People usually strike up conversations with me even if I don't know them and I have a good amount of friends. (Granted, they're all at least 8 years older than me but still)

Plus, I really don't care. I've never really given a shit what people think about me. If someone's just gonna judge me based on the way I look (I'm not saying I'm ugly, I'm just saying people usually judge at a first glance. Espesially someone with my length of hair) then I want nothing to do with those people.

I wouldn't say I'm socially unaccepted, I have a fair amount of friends and so on... but more outgoing groups can tend to decry my belief that it isn't better to be stumbling about a high street throwing up in the middle of the (friday) night than to be doing something I actually enjoy. D:

I'm more of one to go and make a few close friends rather than try to fit into a group so outside of a circle of 10 or 15 friends I'm more of an introvert.

On the flip side though when I have no friends I try to make new ones with those around me without concern to their real type or group.

I don't really care, but I have found that I am not socially accepted.

I guess being quiet when you have nothing meaningful to say counts towards not having good social skills.

Considering that I don't care at all if I'm accepted, it doesn't matter. I'm probably not, though. I'm horrifically cynical, overall evil, and I am incredibly aggressive.

I am very accepted, and have yet to figure out why. I never go out of my way to try and befriend someone and keep mostly to myself. I have earned two nicknames also. One being low and behold, Kriptonite. I am rather partial to that nickname. The other being T-Mo. It's alright but I just prefer Kriptonite. Also, many times my account/profile name is Intergalactic.

Well it depends on whom is setting the standards for a "socially accepted" person. is there a certian quota for the amount of people that find you logical? I'd think not. But if you come up with a way to pualify a socially accepted person please do share. (=
