Which would you prefer to have? Attractive, beautiful little children that every boy/girl would want to date. Sure you'd have to put up with some stupid shit but it'd be worth it for their self-esteem.

Unattractive children that won't be chased after by other kids, they will still be just as wonderful as the attractive ones to you though. Of course, they might be a bit harder to parent when it comes to prom time though.

Incase you're wondering if I'm superficial, I'm wildly unattractive. I was just thinking at work.

I would feel a bit evil if I wanted my children to be unattractive...

But I wouldn't love them any more or less...

I want mine to replace all their natural limbs with bionic ones and cause tension between my kids. Then they will fight each other I will have control over awesome robotic legal fights whenever the hell I want

This is a very hard question on so many levels. Define attractive! For example, from my perspective, the most attractive girls have red hair, pale skin and a 30 foot wall of sarcasm around them for me to bang my head on. If by attractive you mean blonde, blue eyes, 60-90-60 body, it just doesn't do it for me. Honestly, I think attractiveness stems much more from personality and emotional maturity/complexity, than looks. If I wanted kids, which I don't, I'd like them not to inherit some of my traits, but as long as they don't look like Quasimodo, I'd be happy, and hopefully so would they.

How about having attractive children and not bringing them up like spoiled brats who think they can get anything because they're cute?

Sadly enough, it's not just self esteem or their romantic lives that'll be helped by them being attractive, it'll make people like them upon meeting them more easily (again, so long as they've been brought up not to be cocky about their looks) and even improve their ability to get jobs, there's no good enough reason to not prefer them to be attractive.

Honestly I don't mind, they will be adorable to me however they look and I have yet to learn of a person so ugly then cannot get a relationship.

I don't care which they as long as they don't exist. I fucking hate children and there are not a lot of things that would change that mindset.

Neither really. Good looking enough that if they are neat and put in some effort, they will be noticed in a positive light, but not so attractive that they have to do with... interesting... social pressures and problems. Or stalkers.

But if they are healthy, happy and not making my life or their lives hell, then all is good.

Well, I'd like to think that everyone would like their children to be happy and healthy no matter what they look like. It doesn't matter if they're attractive or not, you just need to be there for them when they need you and guide them down the right path.

I like this answer. Having the "hottest" daughter will always cause her to have a life of problems because of it. The other girls will hate her for it, the guys will be chasing her for it, the creeps will be hiding in her closet for it. Not the life you want for a child of yours.

What a silly question.

Attractive literally means "having the quality to draw by appealing to the emotions or senses, by stimulating interest, or by exciting admiration." So by definition this question can only have one answer, since every child is in some way attractive. People are going to like whatever they find attractive, be it buck-teeth, perfect recall of Shakespeare's Macbeth or the smell of daisies.

Attractive children have a higher chance for success and passing on your genes. Our society values beauty such that they could actually find their way into the ruling class. Go Go attractiveness.

There's also the fact that you're raising these kids. There's nothing that says they have to be like some of the terrible or dim attractive people you've known.

I would want them to be attractive for their own happiness.

attractivness goes below skin level, but does include it. It's a whole person thing not an aspect.

Something many people don't think about, and also hoping your child is ugly is just cruel.
I know too many people (my best friend included) who get into problems by sitting still and being attractive.

I said neither because I don't want to think about having kids yet. Even if I do have kids, I wouldn't necessarily want them to be too far on either side of the scale. It's asking for too much attention or not enough attention.
