Poll: Audio Censors - Funny or Annoying?

It's a seemingly simple question that I can't find an answer to. Do censored swear words actually make videos funnier? Or are they just plain annoying? Maybe some people can come up with the answer that has me scratching my head.

Or maybe I'm just over thinking it.

Creg Ferguson, swears a lot on his show and uses his own censoring thing, as he says on his show he said "i think it's funnier to have an Italian flag saying 'tuttsi frutsi' than hearing *tuttsi frutsi*"

Sometimes they make videos fucking hilarious, example:
An annoying example would be the one South Park episode where Comedy Central censored the entire final speech.

its funny when censoring makes it sound worse than it actually was.

Steam forums come to mind, where you say 'damn', but it censors to 4 pink hearts, leaving others with impressions of certain other (worse) 4 letter words. XD

I just find censoring - audio or otherwise - annoying, full stop. I don't get offended by what they're saying or doing, and anyone who does can just turn the damn thing off.

And before you bring it up, yes, I've seen the Pain Series and the Encyclopedia Dramatica "Offended" page.

If it's done simply for the comedic effect, then it's funny. (Like Krunk in Metal Arms. "HAHA! TAKE THAT YOU F*KING SH*TBAGS!!!") And I mean where you hear the first bit and the last bit of the word. The bleep is short. But when the whole word is bleeped or just blanked out, like it's for actual censorship, then it's fucking stupid.
