Poll: Avatar TLA: What bending would you want?

I'm sure a lot of you have seen this amazing television series. I've been watching it recently and was thinking, if I could choose a particular bending skill, what would I have?

Personally I've settled on air, it would be awesome to be able to fly around and there are so many uses I can think of. What would you have if you could?

It would be fun to create an entire wave with my own hands, and i could use it to walk underwater (like, push the water away from me so i make like a bubble around me) and freezing people who get om my nerves...

Yeah but air doesn't get a power up.

Spoiler: Spoilers kind of, I list power ups.

Fire gets lightning, (You can also fly with it.), water gets ice and blood, earth gets metal.

I'de probably go with earth. Burns hurt way too much, I'm not really good with heights, and I have a huge fear of drowning.

I would choose Earth. I don't know why, I've actually never seen the show. Heard it's good. But yeah, Earth is way too underrated in fantasy stuff.

I love that show, shame the movie wasn't even scrathing the awesomenes of what the series is.

I would want Earth bending, one of the coolest bendings in the series tbh, and metal bending xD

Serious part: Earth bender. Because.
Just because.
Okay, I always liked the earth powers. Probably thanks to Golden Sun. Earth adepts are always my best. And the main characters.
So I'd go with being an earth bender.

Earth! Probably because Toph was awesomesauce. Surprised that people agree with me, from the pollratio. Usually I feel that "fire" tend to win these.

Earth is definitely not underrated in this show, all the elements seem to be fairly even. Fights come down to who's more skilled, not who uses what element.

Wasn't there only one person capable of metal bending?
Only a handful of people able to do lightning?
You also need to be a great water bender and wait for a full moon for blood.

If bending was reality I doubt we would all be capable of the 'upgrades'.

I don't live around any great source of water so Water would be out.
I don't have the dedicated and committed personality needed for Earth.
Nor the concentration for Fire.
I don't know any monks :< so Air's gone.

The technique is so advanced that Hama could only use it under the full moon. In the Southern Raiders, it is unclear whether Katara uses Bloodbending without a full moon. A moon that appears to be full is shown earlier in the episode, and Katara actually uses Bloodbending on a later night. It is still possible that it was a full moon night during Katara's use of Bloodbending, as the moon shown earlier may have been a near-full waxing gibbous, rather than the true full moon.

I'm not sure if that's the occasion you thoguht of or not.

Would be the occasion, yes. And if it's a matter of strenght and not necessity, the fullmoon amplifying your power, then a strong enough bender should be able to bend without it. Katara isn't at the height of her power, she is no master.
