Do you take showers or baths? I take baths mostly, but if i'm in a rush then a take a quick shower. my philsophy is why do something standing up when you can do it lying down?

EDIT: another reason for baths for me is that the water pressure and heat change constintly around my house. One mintue you could be taking a nice warm shower then bam its cold and dripping, or you go in and its dripping and cold, then bam hot and on full blast.

EDIT: added new poll optinions for the manly men.

I usually take a shower, unless I'm in the rare mood to take a bath.

Always a shower. In a bath, you pretty much sit in your own filth.

Baths soothe me. However, I find that showers are easier to get in and get out of.

So, Showers weekly.

I agree. I have a shower first, then take a relaxing bath since I'm clean.

I've had occasional baths. However, I almost always have a shower. It's cleaner since you aren't washing in a pool of increasingly dirty water, and it's quicker. Though baths are good for relaxing, which is why if I had a girlfriend... ;)

I almost exclusively take baths because my shower head is a piece of shit that leaks from every joint and I've not gotten around to replacing it yet.

Having said that, I still prefer baths overall because I enjoy getting to soak and relax for awhile. The biggest downer on that is that at least here in the States ninety-nine percent of all bath tubs are TOO. FUCKING. SMALL.

When I get the choice of:

A) Have my knees and most of my legs out of the water.

Or:

B) Have all of my upper body out of the water.

...And the option of getting to put ALL of myself into the water is non-existent because of aforementioned small-ass tubs then something is very wrong as far as I am concerned.

I Shower, not much for baths. Doesn't help that my last bath was when there was no water pressure, meaning that running the water no-stop for 1hr 30min gave about 1 inch of lukewarm water.

And it's called Potamophobia: The fear of running water.
A more general fear would be Hydrophobia: The fear of water (Or Rabies)

Oh man, it took a lotta willpower to not vote for "Hose in the yard".
You should have gone for it, not a real serious thread here. Thats why I put it in, I don't think anyone here showers in there yard with a hose regularly.

Look, a bathe in a creek is a bath, and the hose in the backyard is a shower.

My bathtub is tiny, and not deep enough to hold a grown person and water. I've lived places with big bathtubs, and when I could I was always soaking in them. I love warm water.

Showers. Sometimes a bath if I feel like it. And by the way, most bathtubs are really too small to comfortably fit two people in and still have freedom of movement. That's why I like taking showers when I'm with a girlfriend instead XD

There are people who do that, but they don't tend to have internet, so we're still safe.
