I saw the review on this website, which was the bad company 2 video review and there was a cutscene which had one of the main characters saying that Heartbeat sensors are for douche-bags, is this statement true?

It's pretty fucking unrealistic as far as I know, but it's a video game, so I think I'll be alright without total realism.

I don't see anything wrong with them - that being said, everytime I've tried to use it in MW2, things have usually gone horribly wrong. I find myself paying more attention to the sensor than I do what's actually going on, usually leading to my untimely death.
