I got myself a new bed, like, a week ago. Upgrading from a full to a queen feels refreshing, as I can stretch out a little more while my limbs are still on a cushioned surface. My neighbor helped me carry it in my apartment, and she's wondering why I would want such a large bed for myself. She thinks that "queen and king sized beds should only be used for couples." I flirtatiously laughed at the thought and a playful retort: **"I'm willing to share this bed if you're willing to sleep in it with me." A playful slap and rejection later, I'm comfortably sleeping alone.

** = I used that line with 007-fueled confidence. And rejection did not hurt as bad as I thought.

I ask you Escapists, what size bed do you sleep on? And if you don't sleep on a bed, then what do you sleep on?

Note: I made the poll with rectangular beds in mind (and in American sizes *slaps head*, but I can adjust as necessary). Also, I had to do a bit of reading in bed size names globally. I'm not gonna be able to please everyone.

I sleep on a twin, but for about a year I had 2 twins in my room smooshed together. It was nice having that much space, but I didn't have any space in room.

Twin at the moment, although I'd be happy with a bench. I'm not fussy at all over sleeping arrangements, which is good for passing out after a night out.

I have a Queen and I love it. :) Though, half of it goes to my dog so...I guess only half of it's really mine. >.>

Back home I have a single bed, but while in the shared house I live in for nine months of the year at university, I'm in a double bed (twin bed for you non-Brits who like to spell things WRONG!)* Now all I need to do is find someone to take up the other half of the bed every night... :p

[small]*Just kidding, though you still spell things wrong, I reckon. There's a reason it's called the English language, you know...[/small]

I have a twin, because it's the only thing that'll really fit in my dinky little 9x12 room. When my girlfriend's around, it's interesting trying to sleep, since we're both nearly six feet tall, so there's not exactly a lot of space for limbs or anything. I'll probably get around to fixing that at some point when I move.

Twin, but I'm sharing it, so not too much room. The main thing that annoys me about every bed I've ever been in is they're less than 6ft long, whilst I'm 6'3" so my feet are always cold or I have to sleep fetal. Annoying.

A this sized bed.

I'm 5'10, if that helps determine. Just a standard, one person bed.
There is no need to remove the sexy posters from your wall just for the photo.
In other words: Send pl0x.

OT: I do have a twin sized bed, but mostly I sleep on the couch...
