Poll: Best Halo Game

What do you think is the best halo game? Personally I'm going to have to go with Halo 2. I know that a lot of people will disagree with me, but I quite liked it not to mention it was the first to incorporate Xbox Live. Halo ODST gets honorable mention for atmosphere and great voice acting. So What is your favorite halo game?

I quite enjoyed Halo 3, but for me it was ODST. The musical score was absolutely spot on for it.

I personaly liked Halo CE the best, and it had online so your "It has multiplayer first" is rubbish. It had the best story of the 3 (not counting ODST since its not a full game[hate on me if you wish]) that acually felt a bit compelling, and for its time it was an amzing game, maybe not completely original but it had all the good elaments of previos games.

No hate here, they're all good games, Halo CE had a great plot

I feel Halo Wars was an abortion. I mean, that one cut scene (you know the one) was entertaining. But the game itself was just over glorified rock-paper-scissors. In total there were like 5 unique strategies to be shared amongst everyone who plays it because there was no use for guerrilla combat. It was either, a massive army of Grizzlies, Hawks, or ODSTs. the covenant was a lot more creative and had more room to play around but the heroes were far to overpowered. It was way too ''Dumb downed'' to be very fun. On topic, Halo 3 brought the most to the series. It took what CE and 2 did well and improved upon them.

Halo 2.

Matchmaking was legendary and the Campaign I quite liked. I swear by Halo 2 and I always will.

But it should be added that I never had a good PC or the original xbox so I do not know of Halo: CE.
