I think Nemesis is the scariest. Just because he's always there...following...

I really like Wesker as a character, and the boss fights with him pre-volcano in RE5 and the Lost in Nightmares DLC were good. But his transformation thing as the final boss was pretty shite I thought...

Wesker of course. Can there really be another other? (although he is getting dorkier and sillier, with RE5 being the low point.)

I've only played RE5...but I gotta say, amateur difficulty+infinite Rocket Launcher ammo=a very quick death for anything. Including Wesker.
Professional difficulty, infinite magnum is also :D

I wish they could do a remake of resident evil 3. And i wish the movie didn't raped our beloved Nemesis with their crap.

I loved the first part of the Wesker fight in RE5, he felt very badass and it was a really fun fight.

and shooting a rocket at his face was hilarious.
Kicking of his glasses with Sheva was pretty sweet too.

Yeah, I wish the movie had been more like the game... I wish they'd do a remake, and still use the old camera angles, it made the game so much scarier, having the ol' off-screen blind spots...
Wish they'd remake the first one as well (As far as I know, Resident Evil Zero was set just before Resident Evil, and you play as Bravo Team...)
I miss the old camera angles ;~; they helped to make it scary ;~;
Resident evil 5 was just a TPS with butt-ugly enemies and nasty deaths >.>
And lasers.

Didn't they made a remake of resident evil one for the gamecube?

That would be the 'Resident Evil Zero [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil_Zero]' that I mentioned, which is as I thought, based around Bravo team/Rebecca Chambers.
Could be interesting, but I don't even have a gamecube... but if it is anything like the book, I think I'd prefer a proper remake of the first game, complete with original camera angles...

No, They did remake Resident Evil for Gamecube, REmake. Surely you should know about it?
Nope, never heard of it, or saw anything.
Although, just ran a little search, it doesn't have a page on Wikipedia, but a single paragraph in the main Resident Evil page for the first game...
Never even saw it in the shops here :|
I'll have to keep an eye out, thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Dude, you forgot Osmand Saddler!

Not sure he's really the best, per se, but he does have his charms. If nothing else, he has a sense of humour about what he's doing.

He's also a shit-ton easier than Krauser on hard - once you've figured out how to beat Saddler, there's no difference between the difficulty levels. Krauser took me hours on hard, even though I knew what to do (with exceptions for the Chicago Typewriter playthrough, that was just criminal).

Anyway, final bosses aside, I might have to say "it" that Saddler "introduces" you to, if only because it's the one boss that scared the shit out of me each time (it helps that you only had 30 seconds before plummetting to your doom, too).

You know what would've made more sense?

Searching for a game on a gaming website, not Wikipedia...

http://au.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/residentevil/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B0
...why on Earth would I do something that makes sense?
This is the only game-related site I go to. I don't need to use other sites. What little I need, I can get here, or from Wikipedia. It may not be flawless, but it certainly has enough information for me.
To be honest, I didn't even read the entry on the Resident Evil remake >.> Just knowing it exists is enough for me.

The Nemesis. I'll always remember the time I met him. Managed to down him, he gets up, full sprint and I'm dead. Never messed with him again!
