So, it seems that the Special Edition was unveiled yesterday on 2K's website. It'll cost $100, and come with three posters, as you would see them in the game, an art book, a CD containing the soundtrack to Bioshock 2, and a vinyl with the soundtrack to the original Bioshock - as well as the game of course.

I'm hoping they'll announce an in-game bonus as well. Here's a link to the website as well: http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/bioshock2se.html

Any thoughts?

I probably will buy it just because I have always liked art books, and I also hope they add a in game bonus for the special edition.

All those posters are drool-worthy, but I'm sure the SE is a tad too expensive for most of us...

I have a pre-order in for Bioshock 2. Upon seeing this I must resist the urge to change the pre-order to Collector's Edition...

(Also, WOO 500 POSTS! A winnar is me.)

want, although it would be better if it had a more unique, game-themed item like a figurine or some other model

Looks great! The posters looks smart and an art book always helps nicely!

A few people seem to be crying out for a figure of sorts. I think a figure is something best sold seperately. A high quality version of the Big Sister or something along those lines, as opposed to the "average" sort you would likely get bundled with a collectors edition.

I don't know the one that came with Assassin's Creed II looks pretty sweet. Though I will admit I was a bit disappointed with the one that came with Resident Evil 5.

And all I got to say about this special edition is must have gimme gimme gimme

This is the first collectors edition I have really been interested in. Looks really nice. I will definitely be getting this. The the soundtrack to Bioshock was one of the best I have heard in any game.

Looks nice, but i think the whole Dragon age origins collectors edition had the better deal idea. free in game content for all. *Cheers*

Indeed the AC2 one looks quite smart, the "Black Edition" of the game especially. Sadly, I've being checking some of the UK sites here and haven't seen a mentioned of the Bioshock 2 CE, despite it appearing on the US Amazon site and the like.

It would be quite a downer if this sweet CE wasn't made available over here.
