Hello folks,

Right, just general referendum to see how many people actually crazy enough to like the new bond, that has absoluetely no charm nor charisma.

To me, Bond will forever be Sean Connery with the classics of "Bond, James Bond" and whatnot.

Sean Connery. Even as a Russsian (Hunt for Red October), he's a better Bond than Mr. Craig.

Connery is of course the original and the best, but you left off poll options for Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and..... wait for it! .....George Lazenby!

I did at first but it was too clutered, and so little people know who they are, many folks who don't like the new bond would just have randomly picked one.

I see your train of thought, but, no.

Cheers

Connery is, will and always has been the best Bond. That being said though, if Timothy Dalton had done some more movies he would have surely got to the same level of elite Bondness Connery instilled

I like Craig the best. He's more cool and less corny than the previous Bonds which is always a plus.

Though I miss Q. :/

I would have liked to have seen John Cleese continue on in Q's place. It didnt work out sadly.

I've never seen a Connery Bond movie (yes yes let's get over it) but Craig is by far the best of the actors that I've seen. The guy's nearly insane, and that is interesting. The other Bond movies I've seen are just movies where a man with no temper or moods other than "calmly stoic" walks around and blasts his incredibly boring competence at people.

I feel the same.

Part of what makes me like Daniel Craig as the new Bond is that they aren't trying to layer over all the old Bonds like paint on an old house. They took a new approach, a new actor and did a slight reboot to bring Bond into the modern age.

I mean, you can only do gadget watches and cars so many times before they start getting old and boring. Relying on his own wits and skills with one or two realistic gadgets (which is what they are doing) makes Bond a little more bad-ass.

Man, don't even talk about Dalton. What a utter cock-up that was. He and Bronson made me avoid going to the movies to see a Bond flick for the last 10 years.

Sean Connery will always be my Bond of choice - he has so much going for him, including that irresistable accent! Mmmm... =)

Pierce Brosnan had the 'twinkle' without the sleaze that Roger Moore coats everything in, but the problem I had with him was that he was more Pierce Brosnan than Bond, if you get what I mean. He was better in Remington Steele. (sp?)

I find Daniel Craig to be just a shade too wooden - the man has only one facial expression, it seems - but he certainly plays a tougher, grittier Bond, which is more faithful to the original books. and has its own charm. ;-)

I don't miss the gadgets so much as I miss Q himself - he was solid gold awesome!

In short - Sean Connery all the way! =D

You just gave me a mental image that will keep me laughing for a month- Charles Bronson as a Bond!

Sean Connery is still the only one that I can picture as a Bond, which seems to me to be a bit narrow, but I guess in this case I'll excercise my right to be narrow. I really couldn't stand the last couple Bonds, and had completely lost interest as a result, but I guess I can appreciate the change in attitude and atmosphere of the new Bond. It just took awhile for the change to grow on me, I guess.

Charles Bronson...that guy was ridiculous.

Ha ha ha ha. Thanks for capitalizing on my typo. Honestly, that made ME laugh.

Oh man, Charlse Bronson as James Bond? Only if James Bond has a Death Wish.
