Fail-Win is far to binary to be a good poll.
Your poll sucks and i refuse to use it until there are better options.
OT: it is both, it fails at being a single player game with story. But it is so far beyond win in the multi-player shoot'em'up area that it more than makes up for it. In other words, i'm happy i shelled out for it.

WIN still playing. Bought it the day it came out and still going back to it, more than I can say for MW2, which sits on my shelf with only a disappointed stare occasionlly gracing it.
It's a burst of good fun. Single player is alright, but it's obvious the game is intended for multiple people. Since you didn't specify console or pc, I can't add to the pros "split screen". I think it's win...though I hate that term.
Gee it's either really good to a failure. I mean from the just the bit I played in a store it was quite fun. But not like Best game ever type stuff

The DLC, however (which I just finished) was a complete success. It was hilarious, and I fully enjoyed my time in it.
If you take it by gameplay, it's a win. FPS mixed with the random loot makes it a game I can continue to play long past the point that I've finished any quests, unlike Fallout 3. I am always on the search for an even more better gun to allow me to deal out death with.(Oh, and the money. I surpassed across-the-board-9's a good while ago. I am continuously amazed by how much money I have, though. I can buy ANYTHING and the game will still not show any loss of funds from me. Hell, I've spent 11 mil in one sitting before and still saw no change. Perhaps my old MMO philosophy on loot has payed off a bit too well, neh?)
