If it's on PC and doesn't have a subscription fee, absolutely I'd play it. Unfortunately my limit is 1 sub-based MMO, and obviously WoW is that game for the next couple years.

Happy? I don't know, I have yet to see any details on this. The fact that it's an action MMO interests me though, that might mean it could be an MMOFPS, a genre I've never played but am extremely curious about thanks to all the PlanetSide fanboying on these forums. I'll keep an eye on it.

This is actually really disappointing, I was hoping for an Action-RPG, or maybe a different FPS, but an MMO? I have never liked MMOs, but I have always loved Bungie, so they might make it awesome, so I can't wait to here more.

Hm... Unexpected.

Personally I was hoping for a Space-sim shooter like the Long Night of Solace mission from Reach. An action MMO though huh?

I won't be sure it's true until I hear it from Bungie themselves (perhaps in today's weekly update?) but these sources seem reliable...

I'll definetly get whatever Bungie comes up with though (but subscribtion payments would make me think twice) since they're one of the best in the business and my favorite.

Not terribly excited. I think the boom in F2P has put MMOs in a transition period and the market is going to look very different by the time this title is released. This feels like TOR - a huge name in single player gaming diving into the MMO genre, so what we get is a loooooong development time with a very uncertain outcome.

If they want to make an MMO, go for it. Just don't put it in my face in the form of every other ad like you did with Reach. Holy fuck, I hated that game before it even came out, just because of the commercials. And thats coming from someone who loved Halo 3. I really don't like MMos but that doesn't mean I am going to trash their "bright" idea.

And why the fuck is everyone trashing Halo? Granted their last release sucked ass but the older titles were awesome. Why is it all of a sudden everyone hates Halo... Do you guys remember when it was "that shit" for real gamers?
