It would be useful to know what you're aiming to play with it. Or if you want it to last for quite a while or not.

I would be wary of buying any off-the-shelf PC that doesn't specify what PSU it has (like a few of those you listed do), as often a cheap no-name PSU can be very limiting to future upgrades and can be quite expensive to replace (depending on the case, motherboard and how the PSU is fixed into the pre-built PC).

However, if you are looking to buy a pre-built PC in the UK, then you should consider buying from PC Specialist (http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/).

It's where I've bought my last 3 PCs for myself and my family from. They offer a very competent and thorough service and allow you to choose all the components you want, then they'll assess the build, assemble it, test and stress test it for around a week and do everything else necessary to make sure it works properly before dispatching it to you, and they also have very good pre-sales and after-sales customer service who can advise and help you with any questions you might have.

Really when it comes to PC buying advice, apart from some general advice based on the principle of buying a mass produced pre-built from somewhere like Currys, I can't honestly do anything more or less than recommend the only place where I would spend my money on buying a custom/pre-built PC.

None of the above. look at overclockers.co.uk or pcspecialist instead. If you wish to disclose a budget im sure people would be able to offer suggestions on specific products.
