Can I put an I7-2600K in any new motherboard with an 1155 socket?
I want to upgrade from a PCI 2.0 slot for the graphics card newer cards are PCI 3.0, get DDR4 and a GTX 1060 or AMD 480 graphics card. This way I keep about $800 bucks worth of stuff and double my PC speeds (currently DDR3 1333, HD 7970). Also be nice to have a USB 3.1, not that I have anything that will utilize it yet (hmmm, have to look on amazon for a 3.0 to 3.1 converter and see if I get better transfer speeds on a Galaxy S7).
Your advice is appreciated: EDIT: MB descriptions include chip sets! Another question, would an old motherboard see one of these new PCI 3.0 8 Gb ddr5 graphics cards?
