My truck has a lazy man button in it that rolls down all four windows, slides open the rear window and opens up the moonroof.
I don't know about you guys, but I would much rather push a button then trying to swing my arm into the back seat to open the window rear window. Imagine trying to get a moonroof to seal properly if it's manual as well.
Even the oldest truck I have a 99 F350 has automatic windows, that have never failed, it just doesn't have all the fancy extras the newer ones have.

EDIT: But I'd rather have them than automatics. Gotta start the car if you forget to close em, and they suck battery for no good reason. I'm lazy but I'd rather not have extra load on the batter, however small it is
Sense: It's what your post is not making.
You don't have to start the car to roll down or up the windows, unless you live in some crazy country that sales strange cars engineered by trained black bears then your car has an accessory, you simply turn the key either towards you one notch, or away from you one notch. As for sucking power for no good reason... Well I think rolling up and down the windows is a good enough reason to use some power. Not to mention that it's a bit safer to operate a button on the arm rest, then a crank halfway down or towards the bottom of the door while driving.
Since you mostly use them while your car is running they hardly ever draw on the battery either. Remember the alternator in the vehicle is providing more then enough output to power the vehicle and charge the battery at the same time. Those small electric motors in the windows are not hurting anything. It's not like they are sitting there holding the window up and sucking down juice constantly to do that.
