Do you like to use cheats to beat a game when you're stuck? Do you consider cheats to be... well, cheating? Do you find them 'unethical'? Do you use them just to mess around the game with for a laugh?
Personally, i don't like using cheats, even for fun (god mode to wreak havoc in the game world for example) although i'll admit that i don't necessarily see the problem in using cheats that have been labouriously earned, such as the infinite ammo cheats in RE5 - assuming i'm using them to assist in getting some tough achievements, since i care most of all about 100%'ing a game.
Although i think RE5 is the only real game to offer cheats if the player is actually willing to put the time in to earn them in the first place. And of course, using infinite ammo by no means guarantees success - i've still died plenty times on Professional!
I suppose my stance is that "i don't mind cheats, as long as they're not cheap". What do you guys think about this? Anyone hark back to the Action Replay days on the N64, for example?
