The Vambie apocalypse

I am shamefully prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse. When I am waiting for something to happen at work, I think: "How can I improve my Zombie Plan?" and it is now so far involved that I am plotting about four different societal structures for surviving and rebuilding civilization (mind you this is only if the zombies are outnumbering humans, if not then another whole plan is already completed.)

I'd go with the forest apocalypse, provided that there are no roaming demons or gods (Princess Mononoke style) filling the forest. I'm relatively certain that I can build a suitable shelter and survive in the forest far better than I can survive a nuclear holocaust, zombie outbreak or robot uprising. And I would not like be taken captive and turned into a slave (Korea/Russia invasion) or experiment/food source (Alien invasion).
Zombie apocalypse definitely sounds like the most fun....
But I'm inclined to say Alien Invasion, only because I think the introduction of a new, aggressive species is one of the only things that would actually get humans to bond as a species and throw away a lot of the hatred we harbor towards each other.

The zombie apocalypse is way overdone. Personally, I'd prefer a badass war against the machines for the very survival of our species, if for no other reason than to have a legitimate reason to play this music all the time.
An alien invasion would probably just kill the humans. Nothing would be missed. Maybe the planet would be a nice place again..
