Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars and its expansion Kane's Wrath didn't get particularily astronomical reviews. I bought it as a 2 set at a Target for 30 bucks. I loved this game, and the factions of Nod, GDI, and the Scrin fit in nicely for gameplay and story. The graphics weren't the best, and had some issues. I enjoyed it, but I want to know if anyone else did, or if I am all alone on my broken ex-Westwood raft. What did you think?

I enjoyed Tiberium Wars quite a bit, until I got to a level that was too hard and rather than get better at the game I decided to quit playing instead. Never played Kane's Wrath and just avoided C&C4 due to the reviews. Still, if they released another C&C game I would probably check out a demo at least.
Honestly I haven't really been a fan of the C&C games since Generals. Loved Generals. I like the GDI and Nod factions. But the games just haven't done it for me.
I had a similar experience but, at the time, I was burning out on a RTS overload so my opinion is a bit biased because of it. I avoided C&C4 because the first time I saw it, it was going for $19.95 brand new... that said enough to me anyway.John P. Hackworth said:

Then I got C&C 3 Tiberium Wars/Kain's Wrath combo... just couldn't do it and remembering it is like remembering the time I ate waaay too much chocolate, I just can't pick it up again.
During the time I bought CnC3, I'd been playing my first RTS fairly extensivly (BFME2, if you cared to know) and I just couldn't get into it, it just felt too different.
Every C&C game is awesome except for the latest games to come out. EA ruined C&C 4, like..... not even gona get into it. And Red Alert 3 I heard was bad, not rip your eyes out bad like C&C 4, but yeh.
I think back to the times when Westwood existed and I was a child. *Nostalgia run*. I only wish they were still around and had made these games, they would have been done proper.
