Poll: Confused Persona 3 : FES or Persona 3 portable WHAT SHOULD I BUY!

I loved Persona 4 and P3P sparked my interest. From what I've read P3P has graphical downgrades etc from Persona 3 : FES, but P3P has the option to play as either gender which can slightly change story line increasing replay value! I don't know can someone please help!?

I hate JRPG's. Yet, Persona 3 FES did the unthinkable and got me hooked completely, so much so that I even bought Persona 4.

If you played Persona 4, you'll enjoy the one on PSP more, because it got the gameplay ameliorations of P4

Persona 3 FES. I mean, it's well over 100 hours. And do you want to spend 100+ hours looking at a tiny screen as opposed to a regular sized T.V.?

PS3 portable is just a crummy downgrading of an epic game.

The game is so long and already has so much replay value that replaying it as a female wouldn't be worth it for me. Hell, I can't even finish it once!
So I say FES! Larger screen presentation, and I can't see those awesomely made cut-scenes being too great on a little PSP.

The PSP version lets you control your partners instead of them acting on your own.

That means they wont spam useless moves, yes im looking at you Mitsuru using Marin Karin when im on low health.

And the female thing just means that you have diffrent social links, you get more in the evenings so you dont waste as much time.

Well, I would buy Persona 3 Portable if I had a PSP, since I already have a PS2.

However, the only thing better about P3P is a female protagonist (meaning you can date guys... and save a certain someone a lot of us wanted to save but couldn't) and some mini-games, like time trials for full moon bosses.

If this is your first Persona, buy Persona 3 FES. It will most likely last longer, since P3 is about 60-70 hours long and FES is another 20-35 hours.

Well I guess it depends on what you want more, the enhanced story of FES, or the enhanced gameplay of P3P. From what I gathered, FES is persona 3 with an expansion to the story on it continuing after the original game. P3P doesn't have the anime cut scenes and are instead just using in game engine, and P3P's gameplay is better than the previous version with full party control and other little things.

I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised if ATLUS released FES DLC for P3P later on seeing as the game is appearently selling really well and the UMD just didn't have enough space left on it to include FES with everything else. But that's just wishful thinking, but I wouldn't mind paying 5 bucks or something for FES DLC.

Again I guess it really boils down to whether you want more story or better gameplay. Playing it on a portable isn't bad, I really don't get why people get fussy over the screens, my eye sight aint perfect but I manage jsut fine. Anyways, if you wanna take the game wherever you go and enjoy it, get P3P; but FES may be better seeing as it's got more story and you probably can find it for cheaper than what P3P is at right now.
