Poll: Coolest "Lego" version of a game?

Yeah, so GameFaqs is doing its usual daily Poll thing, except today I am outraged -

OUTRAGED!!!!

- over the fact that everyone seems to just want a Lego version of Final Fantasy of all things.

Jesus fuggin' Christabubbloovesmu...

Why not make a Lego version of a game that could make full use of the ONE thing that Legos are good for (building stuff)? Like SimCity! Or the Sims! Maybe even something like Civilization or something!?

But then again, I guess the Lego games have never really been anything much more than a cheap way to make some easy cash off all the bewildered youngsters.

Buuuuuuuttttt considering that Final Fantasy of all things seems to be the most popular idea (a franchise which is mostly only liked by the wapanese/japanese obssesives of yesteryear), then I'm guessing its some of you older gents that are making this call.

ANYWAYS, what I wanted to ask was, what game would you most like to see a Lego version of?

I don't want to see any game series become LEGO (LEGOdated? LEGOfied?), I rather then keep making movie tie-ins that just wouldn't be good without their hand in it such as Harry Potter.

To answer the question though, I would rather see Star Craft or Total Annhiliation or Total War or Dune or any other RTS LEGOdated (I'm going with that, liquidated) really. You build things up with LEGOs so why not a full army to attack and conquer with? Break apart your enemies and use their pieces to build more of your own.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Lego RTS with some of the classic sets that they used to have (like Aquasharks and Aquanaughts). I would by it in a heartbeat.

Banjo-Kazooie got sorta Lego-fiedated, and the more I played it, the bigger the hole in my heart where Banjo-Kazooie used to reside became.

None of the above: Half-Life. One character never speaks anyway, so that's less dialogue that they have to Lego-pantomime. Physics puzzles are a big part of Half-Life, and Legos go hand-in-hand with that; imagine using a Lego gravity gun to build a huge tower out of headcrabs and explosive barrels!

Also, it's about time the franchise moved from third- to first-person.

Hey! I liked the Lego Star Wars games. I thought they were charming. Plus dude... Lego is awesome. Star Wars is awesome. What's not to like?

I said Final Fantasy, mainly because there'd be enough 'episodes' to choose from. Though MgR's ^ idea of Lego James Bond would be pretty awesome too.

I voted for Call of Duty, because I can just imagine sniping and -pop- Lego head flies straight up.
But what I'd really love to see is Lego Resident Evil. I read something somewhere making a joke about it and ever since I think of it when I see a lego game.
