Bear with me here, I've never played a Pokemon game in my life and know almost nothing about it, but - isn't there some pokemon, an insectile one with a hole in it's back or something, that according to legend can steal your soul if you look into it? Well, just make that real. And those ones that wear a skull on their head? Make it a human skull, and show one brutally murder somebody to get their skull.

See, not so far-fetched, is it?

Not so sure about that. Kabutops was pretty awesome though. And they tried to make Mewtwo into a badass evil force. That could be altered into a killing spree and then into horror.
Or have a Ditto take human form and kill people.

The one with the skull is already disturbing, considering that it wears it's mother's skull.

Oh, and not sure if you did it intentionally, but there is a Pokemon called Farfetch'd

I would play it. It would give a nice break from all the badly disguised violence. As if they are really hiding it with "fainted".

There is some potentially scary stuff that could be used, none that I care to list, but it could work.

Isn't that a little TOO simple?
I mean, the show had ghost episodes that were comedic, and the games had foggy mountains and graveyard towers with creepy music. Not too horrific in my opinion.

I still say Nurse Joy with a cleaver would be epic.

Gee thanks for the hilarious mental picture I just had, of Pikachu face covered in blood and rest of meat with a demented face saying "Pika....CHU!!!!!!" and procced into eating the remains of Ash.

I voted No because I think Pokemon couldn't possibly be a serious scary horror but it does have potential for a comedy horror. And that Nurse Joy thing... That I'd like to see!

Also that mental picture... I seen something like that in Drawn Together. That's such a weird Show!
