I realize that allot of people had issues when 4e came out. It simplified much of the game which felt particularly strange considering the extreme complexity 3.5 was famous/infamous for. to allot of people, it felt like their favorite rpg was being dumbed down to its lowest common denominator.
But here we are a few years later.
We have over 32 playable races, 25 classes, both multiclassing and hybrids, three monster manuals, three players handbooks, 2 dungeon master guides, three campaign settings, both lfr and encounters, in addition to online resources never before offered.
While I'm sure many people still dislike 4e, complaining that its too simple or streamlined seems like an old excuse. What are your feelings on it? Do you like or dislike it, and why?
