but in squad based, character driven gameplay... well... Our beloved bugs are a faceless wave.

Wait, i don't know if your trying to say Zerg or Nids came first.

because Nids came first. If that's what you meant i apologize.

As a main race being added it would definatly be nids but I would also like to see subraces(for lack of a better word that I can think of). By this I mean Split chaos into its four sects and give us spacewolfs etc.

Balancing could be a problem but it would be cool nether the less.

I think subraces might be problematic- the differences aren't that marked in a lot of them- though being able to, for example, pick a chaos god your sect worships, and thus what daemon you summon, or what bonuses your SM army gets (e.g. Dark Angels get extra badass Deathwing Terminators, Space Wolves get CQC bonuses and so on) would be very cool.

Killing Tau in general is hilarious (thank god GW sorted out the stupid tau hover vehicle rules finally)
