Don't get me wrong. I like Superman and Batman just as much as the next guy, but DC has such a wealth of other characters. I think they need to take a page from Marvel and branch out. Stop playing it safe and take a chance with the other heros they have.

I would love to see Green Lantern.

superhero movies are meh...
they focus too much on extended action scenes, neglect story, or take what worked better as a comic book, fail to characterise pretty much everyone and there are already enough of them. it's pretty much charging a subscription fee to fanboys

you all forget they HAVE done other dc super hero movies, however they make a steaming pile of crap look good

i'd say The Spirit [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0831887/] belongs in there but it's not fully a dc comic
