This has probably been done before, but I'm new so...

What (if any) are your relationship deal breakers? Is there a trait you find so off-putting, vile, or annoying that anyone in possession of it gets kicked to the curb?

Me? It's tremendously petty, but the beginning of the end of a recent relationship was the use of 'u' in place of 'you' in an email. Forgivable in a text message, but anywhere else? I'm sorry, artist-formerly-and-now-again-known-as-Prince, it's over.

It's all personality to me. There isn't a specific "trigger", but I'll be able to tell if someone's personality is compatible with mine.

I never slept with any of my girlfriends because they weren't virgins anymore, yes I know it's incredibelly petty but I dunno I just don't wanna give up mine to someone who I don't think I love if that makes any sense?

That is pretty petty OP, u should really learn to overlook it.... it may do u some good. It could make ur life a little easier.

OT: No there isn't a specific one, except that maybe she needs to not be a raging *****.

That's really it for me. I reallllllly hate feeling smothered.
At first I thought you were talking about erotic asphyxiation. And I was like, "Well... yeah, that'd be a dealbreaker."

Overly religious, smoker or a heavy drinker.

That's funny because I love being smothered. I don't know why, but I love clingy girls.

There's a few things that if they do it, I could never stand to be with them in a serious relationship. I can't stand people that have to be very loud when they yawn. It's just irritating, and there's no reason for it. I can't stand people that chew with their mouths open. And I used to know someone who would actually moan when they ate. I can't even put into words how much that pissed me off to hear all the time.

I once broke off a relationship because the girl would text me....all the time. She thought it was cute to text me while she was standing next to me, it drove me insane.

I also remember fighting with a girl over something incredibly stupid. We were watching the first Star Wars movie, and she kept calling the jawas, sand people. I told her that they were not in fact sand people, I told her that the sand people are the people that attacked Luke on the canyon. And that what she was referring to was Jawas, the things that sold droids. She kept saying they were sand people, so we eventually yelled at each other. Guess who got laid that night? Not me.

See, two very good reasons why we could never be together. :)

Yeah, smokers break it for me just because 1, I hate the smell and 2, I'm allergic to it, so I really can't be around people who smoke.

As for the clingy thing, I don't know. I just like a girl who's all over me. What you described sounds like an unhealthy obsession. I just like a girl who loves to be with me all the time. Since I don't have any friends myself, I guess that kinda explains why

I wouldn't say there was anything specific that would be an absolute dealbreaker. Of course there are things that annoy me sometimes, but if I like a girl it's probably for a number of reasons, and even if a few small things annoy me I'll generally overlook them. I mean, I guess there are a few things that no matter how much I liked the girl would probably force me to call an end to the relationship, but in the case of those things they would be signs that the girl wasn't who I thought she was to start with.

"yeah... so, when we started dating you failed to mention that your favorite passtime is murdering babies... I mean, don't get me wrong here, you're a cute girl, but, well, I thought you were a little more caring than... someone who murders babies."

Wait, what? Like, in pain moaning? Sexy moaning? This is bizarre, I want to know more!

As for me, my rock-solid dealbreakers are people who are cruel to dogs or waitstaff; and overt and unrepentant misogyny, racism, or homophobia. There are plenty of things people can do that will make me like them less (scraping their silverware in their teeth! People who don't like to read! Flaunting ignorance like it's something to be proud of!), but those are my two absolutes.

My dad does that. It's sort of like a nom-nom-nom moan as he chews. Very irritating.

Overly religious would get annoying, but I think I could tolerate it. Being stuck up will piss me off to.
Not many others, as long as I find them attractive.
