I recently created a DeviantArt profile [well, about three weeks ago] and have stumbled upon many amazing artists, and will upload some art of my own [whenever I can use a scanner]. But besides that, I'm wondering if any of the Escapists have a DeviantArt profile? I would really like to see some of your work [if you have any], and if you do have a DeviantArt profile, who are some of your favorite artists?

Nope, no, negatory, nu-uh. The only experience I've had with DA is the ED section on it; I don't wanna share, and half the time I really don't wanna watch.

I have a profile, I sometimes give critique on a person's artwork, but I'm not a big fan of the site as a whole. The administration isn't that good on the best days and downright intolerable on the worst, there are some really big egos floating around with legions of adoring fans, and the art work tends to be below average anyway, but there are still people that warrant a look. Overall it's not my go-to site for awesome artwork.

http://www.conceptart.org is a far better site for that.

Some do but you can filter that stuff, and then your just left with crazy good art

I draw a lot, but I prefer genuinely helpful artist communities like conceptart.org. They actually critique your work there, and tell you what you can improve. DeviantArt's good for fun, I guess, but the comments on a piece of somewhat talented work are always just "Wow! This is amazing! You're soooooo good!" DA isn't good for much if you want to improve your art. Besides, the amount of porn, furry and otherwise, is more than a little off-putting.
