Now before I explain, I'm not trying to imply superiority over another, any sexist ideas, or to demoralize anyone. I'm just curious on what other people think on the subject.

So the other day I was doodling on my sketchpad. I was bored, so I drew an army general (You know: old fashioned yelling type). And this got me somehow on the subject of gender diversity. In my opinion, I think men have more diversity in their respective rolls. Like it's more likely to see a male, I don't know, being a janitor than a woman. Or like you would see a female being, um, a librarian than a man. I asked a female friend who she found more diverse and she answered Women, but didn't know why.

So my question to you guys is...Who is more diverse to you? Men or Women?

Men have historically been more common in most gender neutral positions. But its increasingly more common for women to now be found in them as well. Traditionally gender specific jobs (like nurse or firemen) have now also become more open to both genders. So yes, men are more "diverse", but this is changing very quickly and is likely more even then we care to admit.
