I want to be a reviewer but with almost zero money for games I only get old ones. So the games I will most likely review will be older games. And when I say old I don't mean like N64 or Game Cube games, but current generation games that have came out awhile ago.

Personally, I would.

Chances are though, if you post them here, they'll get ignored for the most part. At least when you first begin writing anyway. If you end up being good at it, eventually more people will end up seeing them.

Good luck!

I would tell you to do it for kicks then. If it's too old a game, then the review would simply be one review amongst many others. The only way to really INFORM the public through your reviews is with newer games.

But if you're just doing it for shits and giggles, why not? No harm is doing it. Hell, earlier today someone reviewed a damned old game. but go for it.

DO EEEEEEEEEET!!!

I see nothing wrong with reviewing old games, I've done it myself once or twice. It could be a good way to start out, I think.

I'd reckon old game are better than new ones. The rose-tint of many a spectacle will assist your reviewing capabilities.

Yeah, sure! You never know when someone might review a game you overlooked.

Older games are less expensive for everyone, and I would love to find a forgotten gem in the bargain bin.

Some people won't care, some people will be interested. It really depends on if you care to put forth the effort into making it a good read.

Take Yahtzee, for instance. Half of the games he reviews I really don't care about, but it's his presentation that makes it worthwhile. That doesn't mean you have to imitate him or anything, but if you put effort to it's presentation, you will have an audience.

I do reviews like that... I've done one on Crysis and one on Bad Company and both got a lot of views on here at least.

Also, you could bring in some lesser known games and bring them to attention.
