Pretty self-explanatory, do you think that aliens (non-human/non earthlings) exist? if so what do you think they will be like? and do you think that we will discover them or they discover us?

Personally...I'm not really sure. I never used to but recently after playing through Mass Effect I want to believe in them haha.

I believe that the possibility of alien life is astronomically (pun) large.

I don't think we'll ever encounter them though.
Simply too far away.

The belief in extraterrestrial life is just that, a belief. Unless there is confirmation, I would have to say no.

Mathematically, it's quite unlikely that we are the only intelligent life - let alone the only life - in this universe. So I can say that yes, I am convinced that "we are not alone".
Our galaxy, the milky way, alone has up to 300 billion stars. That's 300,000,000,000. Now if only every tenth star has planets, that's still 30,000,000,000 (30 billion). Now if one in every thousand solar systems would have life, that would still be 30,000,000 (30 million) systems. Now if one of every thousand systems with a planet with life sports intelligent life, that would still be 30,000 (30 thousand) systems and thus civilizations.

And that's in our galaxy alone. At the moment 50 billion (50,000,000,000) galaxies are observable from earth, each with several billions of stars in them...
Heck, even if only every millionth galaxy had one single planet bearing intelligent life, it would still amount to 50 thousand civilizations.

On the other hand, I don't believe in the "grays" visiting us and cover up conspirations. As any life form would have to adhere to the same physics as we do, it's just not feasable that they would travel here, or even have remote contact.

Bacteria and so on, within relatively easy reach on astronomical terms, I can believe that that's possible.

As it is, interstellar travel reuires such a preposterous amount of time and energy that it's extremely unlikely that anything vaguely intelligent, let alone anthropomorphic, with which we could conceivably communicate, will encounter our area of space until long after our solar systems planets have been destroyed (or made completely uninhabitable) by the procession of our sun's life cycle.

No matter how far away they may be, I find it hard to believe there isn't any kind of life anywhere else, intelligent or otherwise.

I think it would be ridiculous to believe that we're the only life form in the entire universe, but I don't think they're already living among us as some believe or hat they've ever visited. Most likely it's just bacteria on the far side of the universe

Sure, we already know of small, microscopic organisms living in our solar system. I don't think it's too much of a leap to imagine that intelligent life exists in other places of the universe, even our galaxy. I know even religious people who I've asked say that there probably are aliens out there so I'm not sure what the reasoning behind aliens not existing is?

On another note, I don't believe that they've visited here and helped us build the ancient structures that we see today.

Do aliens exist? Yes.

Did they visit Earth? No.

And that's just based on probability... Universe being infinitely big and that sort of stuff.

I am siding with probability that somewhere there has to exist another life form of sorts.

I believe in aliens, not the kind from star trek and star wars, but rather microbacteria.

the odds that we live on the only habitable planet in the universe is negligible at best. as for the odds of us ever meeting any of them, well, that's up for debate.

With the number of stars out in this galaxy alone, and the number of galaxies in the universe, the likelihood of alien life out there is, to me, almost a certainty.

Exist? Yes, 100% certainly.
Exist now, at the same time as humans, with spacefaring technology and within contactable or even glaxy spanning distance? No, not bloodly likely.

Suppose the universe is a lake and the entirety of time is 24 hours around that lake. Earth is a single water molecule in that lake and humans would have already evolved and died before you've finished reading this sentance. I have no doubt in my mind that extra terrestrial life exists, but I also have no doubt in my mind that we'll never see life past our planet.

I do believe. I think that our galaxy, let alone the universe, is far, far too large for humanity to be alone.

Honestly, I don't think belief comes into it. It's a nigh-certainty given the scale of the universe.

Yes they are out there.

No they havent been on earth and the likelyhood of that ever happening is very very slim.

Yes, ofcourse. I doubt we have made contact however.

On a side note: It annoys me how scientists say, "Ohh, yes, to have life on it, a planet must have oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water, because that is what all life needs to survive."

Urrrr... no. We have adapted to living off of those elements. For all we know, other alien species may never drink or eat or even breath, let alone based on our own planet. For us to survive on other planets, then yes, we'll need those elements and lots of them, but otherwise, don't assume aliens will also require them.
