I try to as often as possible since I have O+, which is the second most helpful blood type out there, iirc. It's a good cause and it saves lives. I haven't done it much lately, though. Work kind of interferes, but I had a ton of free time in college to do it. Maybe I'll look into setting up an appointment soon.

Sidenote: Jesus, I can't even read these new captchas... I had to cycle through about 10 of them to get one I could make out.

No.
I keep having tattoo's so I'm told I'm shouldn't really give blood for 6 months after its been done. By the time 6 months comes around I have another tattoo.

I would one day like to give blood though, I can't remember what group I'm in (I have it on paper somewhere)

I'm on a rather large dose of antidepressants and have a pretty long history of self-harm. I think that precludes me. Anyone have any idea on that? I'd like to give blood if I can. I mean, why not?

Good on you, mate. It's just a little bit of time and a short poke every two months (here in Ontario, anyway) and it really helps other people.

Been a regular donor myself for about 15 years now. O+. And here it's voluntary--no payment.

No, but I would like to. It's just one of those little things I want to be doing but constantly forget >.>

No, I have a minor case of trypanophobia (fear of needles) and the needles they use to donate blood are a little too big for me and whenever I see them I have a complete mental break down. Yeah I'm a wuss so what.

Yeah, this basically. I'm one of those awful, lazy people who always mean to do it and never quite get around to it.

I have not done it yet (I was not old enough when the opportunities came 'round), but I do plan on doing it sometime in the future when the opportunity next presents itself.

No. I've thought about it, but I figured my blood would be unacceptable what with all the medication that I take.

I used to give blood regularly.

However, in the US, you can not give blood if you are a man who has ever had sex with another man, or if you are person regardless of gender who has ever had sex with a man who has had sex with another man.

So despite the fact that I am perfectly healthy and willing to donate blood, the fact that I have had sex with men who have had sex with other men disqualifies me from donating.

Nope, both of my brother have Diabetes (my sister does not) but I worry that if I give blood those devil Red Cross people would give me Diabetes. But in all seriousness I'm worried that if I give blood I will find out I have it too, and I'm happy believing that I Diabetes free for now.
