...or do you not give a crap, as long as you got workin' sticks?

I, myself, used to have my own Wavebird GC stick, mainly because no one else I played with had one. But I wasn't all crazy about letting people use it.

What about you guys and gals?

Back when the GameCube was still my most used console, only I was allowed to use the black controller. Everyone else had to play with the ugly purple one.

My MW2 exclusive controller is just for me.

No one else gets to touch its pistol grip handles and make it all grubby.

Plus it's slighly more responsive than the normal 360 pad and gives me a little advantage. Could be a placebo effect but it sure feels that way.

Yes I do, my xbox controller. The reason behind this is long and complicated:

It's the only one that actually works.

I have two Wii remotes and one motion plus. If I catch anyone using it without my permission, even myself, I will not be pleased.

I use all of my controllers, and allow all of my friends to use them all..

that way they all get even wear and tear.

If one goes a little loopy, I'll ignore it.. I'll usually offer the good controllers to my friends over myself, because I have plenty of opportunity to use the good ones on my own time.

Huh... I've never really had "MY" controller... just "A" controller.

Although I should probably start doing this. My brother's hands aren't exactly the pinnacle of hygiene.

Yeah, sort of.

My old translucent purple N64 controller was for me alone. But it's so old and the trigger no longer works and the stick is badly worn, now I wouldn't really mind who uses it so long as they aren't going to break it.

My PC on the other hand. NO ONE touches. Especially anyone over 30.
why the age rule?

afraid someone might bust out a

on your ass?

I tried having the same rule for a time, but my mom figured out a way around it. She broke her computer, but needs email access for work, so she found a way to be able to use mine. The sneaky *****.

That's the last of my worries.

No, it's because I use very, very scant protection and safeguards to weigh it down (I like to have full access and minimal drag). And old people have the touch-of-death, where they possess the ability to ruin any piece of modern technology with the slightest touch. Combine those two factors and they'd end up deleting sys32 while trying to google lolcats.

I know what you're thinking, and NO it is NOT paranoia because this is a very real threat.
you do know that that PC, or at least its components, were built by people in their 30s, right?

don't worry, it costs about 150 dollars so it's not likely to find itself in the hands of mothers or fathers. It's mostly for business owners I would imagine. And yes, it is real. It also has a 99.7% accuracy rate. It uses image detection algorithms to find porn.

I sort of want to see the 0.3% false positive.. just a picture of some bald guys head that looks like a breast.

Lies! Slander! I refuse to listen to reason!

But seriously, I'll trust a qualified tech. Those guys know what they're doing most of the time. And I'd wager they're in their late 20's.....
for the most part, you are entirely incorrect in that wager.

Nope. Don't give a shit. As long as we can both play effectivly. Hell, if I manage to kick the other persons ass with the shitty one, just goes to show how much I can kick their ass.
