Today I was shopping and these kids were running around being little shits so I wondered what other people thought about having children.

PS: That experience has made me not want children for a while

Depends on the kid, some kids I just love(by kids I mean like 3-10, since I am only 15) and other kids I would like to punt like a football.

Anyway, decently behaved kids are great. However, I may be a bit biased, since I used to be a child myself.

For some reason I can get along with children but I find them - due to liberal upgringing partly - to be narcissistic little shits that think everything is entitled to them because their parents never told them "NO! You can't do that!" or "No! You cannot become that!".

I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule somewhere, I mean, there's no way the entire world is doomed again because of the eighties... right?

Well if I know the kid and get get along with said kid then yes I have no problems with them. I mean I can't really afford to not like kids given that my sister plans to have kids with her soon to be husband and thus I will be an uncle.
So yeah to answer the thread, I can get along with children fine. They don't bother me, except when they talk really loudly in the movie theatres to an M rated movie that their parent's really should not have taken them to see.

Fun little story... I went to a bookstore and was looking at books when a little kid was fighting with his Mom because he wanted a book. I think it was one of those that came with toys or something because that's where he was. Anyway he threatened to hurt himself and blame his mom. I hope I get another chance to *flips through thesaurus* "chide" a kid before I'm to old to get away with it.
