I had a job interview today and it's been the first time in a long while since I've had to wear a suit. There's something about wearing a suit that makes me feel 'happy', everyone seems to react to me differently, people smile at me more and I can look like the biggest tool in the world while drinking a coffee at Starbucks. I especially looked like the modern gentleman because of the glorious British weather, i.e. pissing it down with rain. So with my umbrella, and my suit, I strolled around Nottingham thinking that I only needed a monicle and a top hat and I could do this everyday.

So, you do you enjoying wearing a suit? Do you hate it? Or are you indifferent?
So fellow escapists, go upstairs, open your wardrobe/closet and...

I wore a suit on 'National Wear a suit day' and I must admit...I felt liberated. You always somehow feel much better about yourself and everyone's opinion of you, if you're in a suit. And that is reason enough to wear one. And statistically speaking, you're 13% more likely to successfully to attract the opposite sex...So there, even more reason. Need to buy more of them I reckon, For being a kid I am still donning Shirts and jeans :)

Heck yes suits are awesome. Its even better because no one thinks you would wear a suit for the sake of wearing a suit.

I hate suits... They're so uncomfortable. I prefer my worn-in jeans, a t-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie.

I would rather be 100% comfortable than look good.

Despite the 'importance' associated with suits I still prefer something more casual. Even while attending more formal events I'd rock a dress shirt over a full-out tux anyday.

"Suiting up" makes you feel awesome and look awesome. Seriously, girls love it and every guy will wish he too was wearing a suit.

Stylish as hell.

Edit: If wearing a suit is uncomfortable then your suit doesn't fit. Not saying get a tailored one cause they are expensive, just make sure everything fits and is worn in the right place. Slacks at the waist guys, no lower.

I hate it and will avoid it at all costs. I really dislike long sleeves and jackets as i overheat so quickly in them and they just... bug me. I find suits really uncomfortable for some reason. Also i think they look terrible on almost everyone and they feel dull, boring and draining to me.

One of my three main reasons for going to university was to get a job where I can wear a suit to work.

They're glorious things. Marvellous, even.

Everyone can afford a suit, it doesn't have to be an expensive one.

Depends on it. I like suiting it up because it's classy. However, for my dad's wedding, I chose to wear a kilt instead of suiting it up. Trust me, the kilt was much more awesome, even if it caused random strangers to take photos of me.

True, if it ain't comfortable then you've got the wrong size.

FUCK. YES.

*ahem*

Yeah, I do. That said, I've only suited up 2 times, but fuck me I've never looked better. And that wasn't even a suit tailored for me. Oh how I long for my own suit...

My love of suiting up has translated into my everyday attire. Anytime I have to leave the house I dress in a button-down shirt, khakis and a belt (unless I'm going to be spending time outside). Everyone used to ask me what I'm dressing up for, but eventually they just accepted that's my style.
I still wear jeans and a tee shirt around the house or if I'm going to be doing something outdoors (ie hiking, playing frisbee), I just feel more comfortable confident when I go out if I look dressy.

I don't like suits. They aren't comfortable and they remind me of the blazers, ties and everything that I had to endure in secondary school.

Suit up... no. Kilt up... just try to stop me. I love wearing my kilt, unfortunately it's just a wee bit impracticable for everyday use. It's a real shame we stopped wearing our national dress for anything other than special occasions.

It's true, suits are the shit!

I'd wager it's also true that wearing a suit because you want to is 10 times better than wearing a suit because you have to...
