This is my first post so i figured I'd start out with an easy poll...I do not know if someone has posted this ever before but I'm sure I'll hear it before this is over..But ya, simple question...Do you prefer gaming alone or with a group of friends...I'm interested to see the results...I'll put an option for Online Friends too if that's your preference...

Online friends - my offline friends don't play to often, and although its usually entertaining, don't offer much of a challange.

Apart from sessions of Rock Band or Team Fortress 2 with friends, I generally game alone and do my non-video game related activities with friends. I kind of use video games as a bit of a "break" from the world, the same way people lose themselves in books, movies, and TV.

Depends on the game entirely. I much prefer playing WoW with people I've only met over the internet. I've watched a few people I know play (read: level) together and it turned into massive arguments. Some people don't have that, but honestly I just don't want the hassle.

That said, fighting games, FPS and 'party' games I enjoy with a group of RL friends.

RPGs I play solo. Those are my "me time" games. Tried playing Lost Oddysey with my brother watching over my shoulder and I just couldn't do it. Have to play RPGs solo.

I just play games, if my real life friends are on then its a plus. But most games i play my real life friends don't play or stopped playing.

Real friends. It's so much to "accidentally" kill your teammate friend and then he will "accidentally" revenge =P.

I would choose split-screen multiplayer with 3 friends anytime. A few years ago i used to frequently have friends over a lot to play 4 player farcry instincts on the original xbox. I find it much more interesting to play with friends in the same room. I haven't tried it but I guess LAN matches would be similar.
