You know how this works. Someone kills you and steals your sniper, you hunt them down and steal it back. Someone gets a cheap knife kill, you find them and return the favor. Will you go after a player who has just gotten the better of you? Does this decrease or increase the 'fun' of the game?

If the person's on my team, I'll just boot them, if given the option, or just let it go. Revenge killing them would be satisfying, but it's likely to ignite a back-and-forth teamkilling cycle that ultimately wouldn't help anyone.

When the guy's on the other team, I usually focus my efforts on him for the rest of the game. I don't really believe in the idea of "cheap kills", but hey, getting knifed is annoying all the same. Hunting the guy down and killing him repeatedly can be very therapeutic.

If they get me 3 or 4 times in a row so I notice their name, then I go after them and get killed 5 or 6 more times, then I get them, the sweet hollow victory it is.

Yes, in TF2 if they're my nemesis, I'll play as a sniper, find the best possible hideout and kill them about 10 times untill they rage quit, or compliment me.

I feed off attention.

If someone pisses me off, they are going down. Period.

Revenge is awesome in games.

I find that the point of games is to enjoy oneself in a social environment when other social environments aren't an option.
Consequently, I revenge kill the fuck out of anyone I can. It increases the number of interactions between me and the other player.

No but, I do boot. If I'm playing Halo and get a sniper only to be team-killed I can't hit the boot-button quick enough. I also submit player reviews but, I'm not quite as evil then. I submit more negative than positive but, I do submit some positive ones. Some...

Not only in multiplayer but singleplayer too, if some pathetic stormtrooper gets a lucky shot on me which knocks me off my feet I save him till last and then make sure he pays, dragging him over the floor, throwing him 100 feet in the air and then catching him just before he hits the ground. Oh and if someone scratches my car in Mafia 2...

Not usually, but if someone did get a really cheap kill on me, like someone spawn killing me over and over, then yes I will hunt that player down!

All the time in Red Dead Redemption multiplayer.

If I'm just riding along minding my own business and someone shoots me, i will chase them across the entire continent and kill them again and again, until they get frustrated and leave the game

I revenge kill in single player not in multiplayer, and that usually just leads to the NPCs who annoy me dying.
I have no idea how many times in RE5 I just let chris die because he was too stupid to fire a damn shotgun, whats that? a dog is about to rip your head off? Oh man this gun is soooo heavy.

While my answer is yes, I'd like to add that I've revenge killed NPC's on escort quests when they'd finally pissed me off way too much by causing me to game over by dying/getting caught/etc. Yes I die again, but at least I feel a little better about said death.
