I dunno, I've developed this habit of talking to the mirror over time. It started from looking at the mirror after a workout (because I'm a bit of a narcissist that way), and eventually grew from there. Now I regularly talk to the mirror, acting out different personas of my psyche, using it as a way to clear up my mind and find out what I actually want to do.

The fact that this is helpful does not mask my concern that this may or may not be normal and/or a healthy thing to do. So I ask you this: do you talk to yourself in the mirror?

Not directly..?
When I'm tired, I talk to inanimate objects, and I usually only use mirrors for utilitarian purposes; I'd be fairly likely to scold my earrings or hairbrush in front of a mirror, since I can visually focus on them.

I do occasionally have conversations with myself in front of a mirror, never in one though.

I find it really amusing to speak to myself for some reason and like you, I act out as different personas, usually for reasons such as trying to make sense of a situation, practising for a presentation or speeches, etc.

Yes. All the time. Not always with the mirror either. Don't give me that look. It's the only way I get an intelligent conversation.

Yes, but not so much in the mirror as whenever I'm alone. I'd talk to myself more, but I don't want to be seen as crazy just because I happen to have a penchant for intelligent conversation.

This comment is made of win. Also of truth. I do the same. I talk to myself but not in the mirror (probably because I'd have to go all the way to the bathroom to do so) because it helps me rationalise and think over stuff.

Nope, not in the mirror. I do talk to myself but it doesn't occur that often, mostly when I need to psyche myself up to do something when I'm nervous.

Only when I'm drunk, just to convince myself I'm not that drunk.
Just a short pep talk normally.

I talk to myself a lot. Usually to berate myself for doing something stupid. I also like to analyze things that way when no one else is around.

I yell at myself in the mirror? Does that count?

I lost myself once in a mirror. I was just staring at it, and all of a sudden an hour and a half had passed, and I hadn't moved. I may be losing my mind...

I sometimes say a few things to myself in the mirror, but I've never done a two-way conversation. Roleplaying myself seems a little weird, lol.

Nah. The mirror is too far away. I prefer talking to myself wherever I might be when feeling like doing so. Which is pretty much anywhere. And everywhere. At any time. So yea, sometimes I do it when looking in a mirror too. But not that often.

*Looks in mirror*

You talking to me? You talking to me? Well, we're the only ones here, who the fuck else are you talking to?

Nope, and really, the only time I will ever talk to objects is if I'm trying to fix it and it's not working. Quiet swearing ensues.

I don't even like looking into mirrors, mirrors kinda freak me out a little.

Well, I talk at myself in the mirror. Don't think I'm quite odd enough to talk back.

The mirror, the walls, the TV, or sometimes just the open air; I talk to myself to them all. Helps me think.
