I mutter to myself a lot. Not even intentionally- I just narrate my internal monologue absent-mindedly when I don't consciously suppress it.

If anyone gets unnerved, I tell them I'm rehearsing for something.

I talk to my self, out loud, and and hold two sides of the conversation. Sometimes, I'll even catch myself and ask who I'm talking to, and a third "me" will enter the conversation... and...


Putting this all down in words makes it sound pretty crazy...

And even when I do talk to myself, I dont think its that weird. If you can hear people talk to themselves, it's not something crazy sounding at all, or something you would hear from the guys next to Dr. Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs

I'm on the same boat. I don't have an ACTUAL conversation with myself, unless I'm having a mock-conversation for my own amusement. Usually, when I ever do, it's just my train of thought, albeit out loud. Only ever do it when no one's around, otherwise they'd give me weird looks.

Yeah, I wouldn't ever do it in front of people but in the privacy of my home, I do it all the time

I talk to myself all the time...and sing to myself...movie-quotes and...game quotes...I try not to do this when I am around other people though but, it sometimes happens anyway. I also talk myself into and out of things...not like arson and kidnapping and stuff: just major purchases. Just today I talked myself out of importing Doki Majo Plus again...but then turned around and talked myself into buying ice cream and, multiple cans/bottles of soda...
