Poll: Do you trust IGN?

They may be the most well know game site on the web, but can we trust them. I think that they are all a bunch of sell-outs and that they will say a game is great even if it's not, so long as they get paid. Tell me what you think.

Hell no, I use them for factual information. They suck for opinions and generally everything else.

I don't violently distrust them like some do, but I'd never go solely on their opinion, either. I go there more for news and features rather than reviews anyway, though.

Yeah, bungie did pay them and they said it was awesome, they also say games are bad if a rival company pays them, case in point:Overlord 2. Or when they have some problem and just give up, case in point:Overlord 1.

I only trust about 3 people in the world and ign is not one of them. I think they gave Monster Hunter Unite a 6.5 so I know what the fish smell is now.

if I'm ever considering getting a game, I normally get more than just the one review. Normally IGN is one of them, but not an overly trusted one. I do go there for videos every now and then though.

I don't trust reviewers much less websites based on reviewing shit. Reviewing has become a full fledged business now as evidenced by the high scores Modern Warfare 2 got.

No, I dont trust them or their system. They could spend the entire review harping on one little detail in what is an otherwise good game and smack it with a 5 or 6. That and the fact that many of the reviewers are biased on certain genres or developers

I hate ign now, they really are running themselves into the ground. Ironically, I LOVE Podcast beyond. One of the two podcast I listen to.

Also, the movie and music critics, are idiots.

Eh, I trust them enough on most things. Though for some reason they promoted Jersey Shore. That's really really weird.

I literally don't trust ANY web source anymore. Even my faith in Metacritic is slowly receding.
I still trust The Escapist though.

Edit: Oh, right. I trust Angry Joe and Spoony, too.
