I personally use one due to my bad spelling.
And I would like to know if other escapists use one.

Nope, too much effort. Also, they are infuriating, the source of endless screenshots of bad corrections posted around the net.

Pah, spell check.
I need no spell check, I have my mind!
Once I learn how to properly spell a word, it tends to stick with me.
So, no spell check here.

Well, my browser has one built-in, but I don't really pay any attention to it. It uses an American English dictionary, but I'm British so it highlights a lot of things that are actually correct. And besides anything else, it doesn't have that many words in it - a lot of words that I type correctly will be highlighted as being misspellings.

So, in short: I have one, don't really use it.

Chrome has one built in, so yeah.

Can get a bit annoying when it uses Americanisms though.

Ever since I started using Chrome, with it's built-in spell-checker. But before then, it wasn't worth the effort.

If it has no errors when I look over it and no red marks then screw it I'm posting.

No. But I usually look at something else and then re-read my post to see if I messed up any of the words' spellings.

Only if it looks like I spelt it wrong, and then I just copy the sentence and google it.

I don't like spell check. I like to automate the spelling of all of my vocabulary in my mind. And I like doing it more without spell check, than using spell check, and going all "Oh spell check is that the right spelling I didn't know that thank you very much for telling me", and then trying to memorize it.

This.
I tend to re-read before posting to check grammar and tone, so I catch most of my occasional typos at the same time.

Yeah, I use Firefox's built in spell check, but it tends to piss me off sometimes, esp. when it gets hung up over American spellings.

Wow, ironic this comes up now.

I don't. It's readable and usually people don't have to much of a hard time working out what I mean. I have terrible spelling. I need to figure out out this spell checker thing >.<

... Well, I don't know how to spell check my entire post without moving it to microsoft word, checking there, then moving it back... so I try to be careful, but I don't go through that hassle. Maybe if I learned this 'Chrome' you speak of, but it doesn't sound all that great considering the above comments.
