So I recently played Dragon Age again to have a good character to import to Dragon age 2. In this game I played a male Mage and romanced Morrigan. I chose to have a child with Morrigan so Alistair could take the throne and nether of us would die. Then I played All the DLC, when I finished witch hunt I chose to go with her into the mirror.

After playing the DA2 demo I couldn?t stop noticing that Hawke and Morrigan look a lot alike. Do you think that He could be the son of Morrigan, even if your warden didn't sleep with Morrigan?

EDIT: My reasoning behind this is that the mirror takes the back in time(I think Morrigan ays that she needed more time).

I've been told that 2 takes place at roughly the same time as origins.

No, Hawke(I think that is his name) isn't the baby. Parts of DA2 take place before the Blight, during the Blight, and (I hope!) after the Blight. I also have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of DAO's hero.

Parts of Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age Origins occur in parallel, so it's not possible that Hawke is a Morriganspawn.

Fem Hawke has really pretty eyes, though.

No, Hawke is a grown man/woman with a brother, sister and mother before you and Morrigan have even so much as held hands.

Time travel always makes a mess of things, still not likely to be true.

Plus, for this to happen, a major plot point is that it would be canon for the main character to make happy fun times with Morrigan, while many people will import the file that doesn't.

Also you can change Hawke's appearance, which sort of makes the whole "they look similar" thing redundant.

Hawke is distantly related to the Mage Warden, according to the Dragon Age Wiki. But it goes back centuries or something.

I've been ninja'd, but yeah, time-wise it makes no sense. Plus, if you played the demo you'd realize you have brothers/sisters, and I don't see Morrigan having more kids. Plus, she's beyond the Fade, raising her little Old God child.

More importantly, anyone else love that Flemeth went from looking like an old homeless woman to a sexily dressed lady? I mean, the age is kind of awkward, but you know what I mean. Decided since she couldn't swap into Morrigan she needed to spruce herself up? >_<

Double Ninja'd! (stupid internet connection...). Both Hawke's mother and the human mage Warden share the family name Amell. And it is set at the same time, which makes it unlikely without crazy time travel. And apparently Morrigan states the child was male in the Witch Hunt DLC, so the option of being male or female also suggests this is not true.

Hawke isn't related to Morrigan, but he is related to a mage warden. The mage warden's last name is Amell as is Hawke's mother's maiden name.

I think Hawk looks more like a long-haired, somewhat grizzled Commander Shepard. I think that's just me though.

Nope, Hawke is alive during DA:O, though I've heard that he may be related to the Warden if the player chose to be a mage in the first game, but I still don't know for sure.

Hawke isn't related to Morrigan at all, the OGB isn't even concieved yet at the beginning of Dragon Age 2. Hawke could be related to the Warden if they were a human mage, though.

I don't think DA2 will make Hawke said child and deliberately make the story that much of a mindfuck. No, whatever happened with Morrigan is pretty much done with I think.

Unless they introduce some whacka-doo time-traveling elements (Which I hope to god they don't) then no, ain't possible.
I must admit though, back when 2 hadn't even been announced, I'd assumed that any sequel Bioware churned out would feature Morrigan's spawn as the protagonist.
