Im rolling Hawke as Elemental mage /w Entropy and Force

Varic as my rouge, Anders if hes still a healer, Aveline as the meat shield

I'm rolling as a elemental mage too. I will be focusing on ice attacks that freeze the enemy.
Anders as my healer, Aveline as my tank and Isabella as my rogue

I have decided to roll.....right on past the game store. First game didn't hold my interest for too long, though I hear it was broken on the console.

Maybe I'll try it on PC.

I'll be a DPS rogue, I'll have a healer, a tank, and a magic damage dealer. Same as Origins.

Either DW or Archer Rogue, haven't decided yet. Will be using Tank/Rogue/Heal Mage/Heal Mage setup, as I did in Origins. I imagine I'll have to sub-spec the mages in some form of damage, since healing has been nerfed so much.

Rogue probably. I went warrior and mage in the origins, but in the demo for dragon age 2 the rogue seemed the most badass to me

I was going to roll Mage, but I don't want to lose *my sister*, so I'm thinking of going DPS warrior or rogue.

[sub]To be honest, I'm waiting to see which character turns out to be gay for Ladyhawke. If it's just Isabela, then Warrior I guess. BioWare should consider making a character that is completely gay and not just bi at least once. Oh well.[/sub]

I'm definitely going a Rogue. More specifically, I don't know, but I'm going to be a Rogue.

Also, I'm definitely using Merrill on my team. I was really disappointed that you couldn't recruit in DA:O (the Dalish origin was the first I tried)

I'm going for a Creation/Arcane Mage with Spirit Healer

From the demo, it seems 'healing' characters have been radically altered (for the better in my opinion). The most powerful healing spell in the game is now sustained and direct healing spells are very much there for emergencies, which leaves healer characters open to actually doing things.

As for companions, depends which ones I like. I'll probably take Merrill unless she turns out to be really annoying, as I like to have to lots of magic.

Mage for first char, I need my walking bomb fix with new chewy cluster loving darkspawn. although the ninja shaming rouge did have sexy appeal to it too, but mages in a land of ppl afraid they'll be turned to toads by one is too fun.
