Neither looked particularly interesting to me. I am not a fan of modern day military shooters, so of course neither would interest me...
Modern Warfare 3 literally looked the exact same as Modern Warfare 2.
Battlefield 3 looked like Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor (not surprisingly.)
Can't say either really looked that great to me, but I'd go with Battlefield 3 over the 2.

They both are looking a bit like more of the same... but I put higher hopes on Battlefield for now. That multiplayer footage was short but brilliant looking.
The single-player looks to be like CoD's action packed scripted scenes but that's not necessarily a bad thing...

I went with the "They both sucked" option. Sure they might have been entertaining a few years ago, but now I hear the term First-person shooter and immediately lose interest. Doubly so if the world 'modern' is also tacked on there. It's likely because I see no depth to these games beyond cosmetic appeal.
Although I found BF3's graphics amazing, I feel as if they were over hyped on the website trailers. It looked like the multiplay lost alot of its detail.
As for MW3, once AGAIN no improvement. Still looks slightly cartoony and movement and gun use is bulky and not smooth. The only thing MW3 has riding on it is location and possibly the story.
Why does it even matter though? MW3 will still easily out sell BF3 because it has Call of Duty printed on the top of the case. I've always had something against the super mainstream games because of the communities' inability to have brain comprehension and capacity towards the game they're funneling all there money to.

I prefer Battlefield as a franchise, so that. Although I'm not impressed by their shit trailers, it's irritating watching epileptic farts of gameplay that show little, I'm already sceptical of DICE and EA because they fucking love making set pieced trailers. Every single one of EA's multiplayer trailers has been acted out so it all looks smooth and badass, you can tell the people in the background are purposely shooting around them. I know trailers are for building hype, and to some extent I can understand and forgive them for it, but not when every trailer they release is just fake.
Call of Duty looks bland to say the least. I got bored of COD with Modern Warfare 1, all these years later everything is still unimpressive, each COD just feels like another expansion, but even then a severely lacking expansion. The single player is understandably shit, and the multiplayer is still just meh, the maps get worse and worse and they really don't add much at all in terms of gameplay, yeah they change the guns but big fucking woop, the G3 still handles exactly like a fucking Garand, the only thing different is the tiny gimmicks they add. OMAGAADDD YOU CAN ADD AN INTERCAHANGBLE ACOG SCOPE? TAKE MY MONEYYYY.

Battlefield 3 clearly looked better, but no one gives a flying fuck about CoD's campaign. We'll see how they'll fare once multiplayer is shown for each.
For me, I know I'll prefer Call of Duty, simply because I enjoy the faster pace. Although I am fairly certain MW3 will suck donkey nuts and I'll go back to CoD4 yet again.
